Garage & Storage Unit Cleanouts

Get your garage back.

We clear garages and storage units across the Upstate, haul off everything you do not want, and sweep up before we leave. You are charged by the trailer load, at a rate we publish, with nothing added on the day.

$299 first trailer load. $275 for each one after that.

What we do

Cleanouts, hauling, and the heavy lifting

Garages are most of what we do. The rest of this list is the same job in a different building.

A tidy garage with a clear floor after a cleanout

Garage Cleanouts

One bay or the whole thing, sorted and cleared in a day.

We work through the garage with you, set aside anything you are keeping, and load out the rest. Most jobs are done in an afternoon. You get the floor back and we take the pile.

A row of self storage units with roll up doors

Storage Unit Cleanouts

Stop paying rent on things you do not want.

Clearing a unit once costs less than another year of paying for it. Send us the facility and unit number and we will call the office to sort out access before we drive out. Drive up units are easiest, and upper floor interior units take longer, so tell us which you have.

A utility trailer loaded with household items for disposal

Junk Hauling

A single heavy item, or a trailer load of it.

Some jobs are one couch nobody can lift and some are a full trailer. Both are worth a call. If it is a single item we can usually work it into a run we are already making, which keeps it cheap.

Boxes being carried out during a household cleanout

Estate & Downsizing Cleanouts

Careful, unhurried, and we work at your pace.

Clearing a parent or grandparent house is a different job from clearing a garage, and it goes better slowly. We keep a hold pile for anything you want a second look at, and nothing leaves until you have seen it.

A cluttered workshop with shelving and stored equipment

Sheds & Outbuildings

Backyard sheds, carports, and workshops.

Sheds hold the things that were too awkward for the garage. Old mowers, half a deck, bags of something nobody remembers buying. Same job, smaller building, and usually a shorter carry to the trailer.

Furniture and household debris loaded for haul away

Furniture & Appliance Removal

The heavy things you cannot get down the stairs alone.

Couches, mattresses, desks, treadmills, washers and dryers. We bring straps and a dolly and we protect the doorways on the way out. Anything with refrigerant in it needs special handling, so mention it and we will price it properly.

Simple version

How it works

Four steps, and the number is agreed before any work starts.

  1. 1

    Send photos

Three or four from the doorway is plenty. Stand back far enough to get the whole space and the piles in frame.

  2. 2

    You get an estimate

We come back with a rough load count and what that runs at our rate. It is an estimate off photos rather than a quote, because depth and weight do not show up in a picture.

  3. 3

    We settle it on site

We walk it with you and split it into keep, go, and undecided. Then we give you the real load count and the total before anything touches the trailer. You sign a short agreement, and if the number does not work you can send us home at no charge.

  4. 4

    We load, haul, and sweep

Everything goes on the trailer and off to the landfill or the donation drop. We sweep the floor on the way out.

Pricing

What it costs

We charge by the trailer load. That rate is the whole price.

Nobody can price a garage off a photo, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is the rate, and that nothing gets added to it. Photos get you an estimate. Then we walk the space with you and settle the load count before anything moves, so the number is agreed while you are standing there.

First trailer load
$299

Covers showing up, sorting with you, loading, hauling, and the landfill fees.

Each load after that
$275

Most two car garages come in around two loads.

A load is our 5 by 8 trailer with the sides on, which holds about 7 cubic yards. Picture a bit under half of a small moving truck.

No fuel charge, no dump fee, no minimum beyond the first load, and no charge for the sorting or the sweeping. A load is a trip. A part full trailer still counts as one, because the run to the landfill costs us the same either way.

We pack every load as tight as we safely can. Sometimes the trailer is full by size and sometimes it is full by weight. A load of paver stone hits the trailer legal limit long before it looks full. Either way that is one load.

What goes on the trailer

We take

  • Furniture, mattresses, and rugs
  • Washers, dryers, and most appliances
  • Mowers, yard tools, and grills
  • Bikes, toys, and sports gear
  • Boxes, totes, and paper
  • Scrap lumber and small building debris
  • Shelving, workbenches, and cabinets
  • Electronics and small household items

We cannot take

  • Paint, stain, solvents, and pool chemicals
  • Tires
  • Propane tanks and fuel cans
  • Car batteries
  • Anything with refrigerant still in it
  • Old tube televisions and monitors
  • Asbestos, and anything that might be

These are landfill and safety rules rather than ours. Ask anyway and we will point you at where they do get taken.

Why us

What you get that you might not elsewhere

You get the owners, both of them

Dustin and Brandie do the work. There is no crew, no dispatcher, and nobody different showing up than the person you talked to. If you need something handled a certain way, tell the people doing it.

One rate, and nothing bolted onto it

Most cleanout companies quote in person, so the number arrives once somebody is already standing in your driveway. We would rather send you the rate in a text and let you think about it. There is no fuel surcharge, no disposal line, and no minimum past the first load.

You point, we carry

Nobody expects the homeowner to help load. Stay inside if you want. We will come find you for anything we are unsure about and otherwise you can leave us to it.

Questions people ask first

Send three or four photos from the doorway and we will come back with an estimate. It is an estimate and not a quote: a photo does not show depth, or weight, or what you have decided to keep. The real number gets settled in person, before we start, with you standing there. If it does not work for you at that point, we leave and you owe nothing.

Send a few photos and we will tell you what it takes.

Charged by the trailer load, at a published rate, with nothing added on the day.
