Pricing
One rate, and nothing bolted onto it
We charge by the trailer load. That rate is the whole price.
Nobody can price a garage off a photo, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is the rate, and that nothing gets added to it. Photos get you an estimate. Then we walk the space with you and settle the load count before anything moves, so the number is agreed while you are standing there.

Most two car garages come in around two loads.
A load is our 5 by 8 trailer with the sides on, which holds about 7 cubic yards. Picture a bit under half of a small moving truck.
No fuel charge, no dump fee, no minimum beyond the first load, and no charge for the sorting or the sweeping. A load is a trip. A part full trailer still counts as one, because the run to the landfill costs us the same either way.
We pack every load as tight as we safely can. Sometimes the trailer is full by size and sometimes it is full by weight. A load of paver stone hits the trailer legal limit long before it looks full. Either way that is one load.

One load
$299A single bay, or a two car garage you can still walk through. Perimeter shelving, a few piles, nothing stacked high.
Two loads
$574A full two car garage. Floor to about waist height across most of it, with some stacking against the walls. This is the most common job we do.
Three loads
$849Packed. Stacked high, wall to wall, and no clear path from the door. Usually a long day and occasionally two.
These are rough. Working out which row you land in is our job rather than yours, and the real count gets agreed on site before anything moves.
What goes on the trailer
We take
- Furniture, mattresses, and rugs
- Washers, dryers, and most appliances
- Mowers, yard tools, and grills
- Bikes, toys, and sports gear
- Boxes, totes, and paper
- Scrap lumber and small building debris
- Shelving, workbenches, and cabinets
- Electronics and small household items
We cannot take
- Paint, stain, solvents, and pool chemicals
- Tires
- Propane tanks and fuel cans
- Car batteries
- Anything with refrigerant still in it
- Old tube televisions and monitors
- Asbestos, and anything that might be
These are landfill and safety rules rather than ours. Ask anyway and we will point you at where they do get taken.
Questions people ask first
Send three or four photos from the doorway and we will come back with an estimate. It is an estimate and not a quote: a photo does not show depth, or weight, or what you have decided to keep. The real number gets settled in person, before we start, with you standing there. If it does not work for you at that point, we leave and you owe nothing.
One trip out with the trailer. It is 5 feet by 8 feet with 5 foot sides, roughly 7 cubic yards. A lightly used two car garage is often one load, a full one is usually two, and packed to the rafters runs three or more. A part full trailer still counts as a load, because the drive and the landfill run cost the same whether it is stacked to the top or not.
For the sorting, yes, at least at the start. We want you to walk the space with us and mark what stays before anything moves. After that you are welcome to go back inside and we will find you if something needs a decision.
Yes, and it is one of our better jobs because you stop paying rent the same month. We do call the facility office first to confirm you are the tenant on the unit and that the account is current, since a unit in default is under a lien and the contents legally cannot be removed.
Yes, a one page agreement before we start, and you can read it on our terms page right now rather than first seeing it on your driveway. It sets out the load count we agreed, the rate, what we cannot take, and the fact that items become ours once they are loaded. It takes about a minute.
They become our property, which is what the agreement covers. From there we may donate, recycle, scrap, repair or resell any of it. That is how the rate stays where it is. Removal is final, so if you are undecided about something, keep it out of the go pile and tell us. We are happy to leave it or to make you an offer on it.
Almost. Paint, solvents, tires, propane, car batteries, refrigerant appliances, and old tube televisions are all turned away at the landfill, so we cannot put them on the trailer. Ask and we will tell you where those do get taken.
